Wells -- Jacqueline May Wells, 68 years, born June 12, 1931, died October 3, 1999."Jackie" was born in Evanston, Illinois to Homer and Annabel Wills. The early years of her life were spent in and around Des Plaines, IL, a suburb of Chicago. She moved to Albuquerque with her children, Dawn and David in 1969. She worked as an LPN at Lovelace for 23 years, where she was the legendary"Shot Lady" giving inoculations to all Overseas travelers. She was so good at giving painless shots that she was frequently requested by Mayors, Hollywood stars, and anyone seeking a soft touch with the needle. She was preceded in death by her mother, Annabel Wiesman. She is survived by her sister, Marilyn Finney and her husband, Edwin of Albuquerque; daughter, Dawn Halpern and her husband, Dr. Neal Halpern of Corrales; and son, David Wells and his wife, Heidi of Albuquerque; her grandchildren, Whitney (17), Erinn (13), Jessica (13), Katelyn (6) and Benjamin (1). Services to be held Thursday, October 7, 1999, 10:00 a.m., at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Kachina Chapel in Taylor Ranch.
