Sanchez -- Johhny R. Sanchez, age 39, of Albuquerque, passed away in Albuquerque on Sunday, October 3, 1999. Johnny was born February 15, 1960 in Albuquerque to Eduardo and Melba Sarracino Sanchez. Johnny is survived by his mother, Melba Sanchez of Grants; his two sons, Felipe and Isiah Sanchez; his daughter, Valerie Sanchez-Wright; his eight brothers, Rudy and his wife, Dorothy Garcia, Victor and his wife, Mary Sanchez, Jerry Sanchez, Patrick Sanchez, Randy Sanchez, Joseph Sanchez, Leroy and his wife, Sonia Sanchez, and Chris and his wife, Aileen Sanchez; four sisters, Shirley and her husband, Andrew Torres, Rhonda and her husband, Abel Gutierrez, Sandra and her husband, Curtis Marez, and Darlene and her husband, Gilbert Garduno; and his two grandchildren, Tyler Wright and Alex Sanchez. Johnny was preceded in death by his father, Eduardo Sanchez in May, 1999; and his brother, Mark Sanchez. Visitation will be Wednesday, beginning at 4:00 p.m., at Grants Mortuary Chapel. The Rosary will be Wednesday, 7:00 p.m., at Grants Mortuary Chapel. The Funeral Mass will be Thursday, 10:00 a.m., at St. Teresa Catholic Church, with Fr. Godfrey Blank, O.F.M. officiating. Burial will follow at Grants Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Jerry Sanchez, Patrick Sanchez, Chris Sanchez, Edward Sanchez, Victor Sanchez and Curtis Marez. Honorary bearers will be Rudy Garcia, Leroy Sanchez, Randy Sanchez, Joseph Sanchez and Gilbert Garduno. Grants Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
