Gutierrez -- Frank L. Gutierrez, 86, beloved brother and uncle, was called home to be with the Lord, Sunday, October 3, 1999. Mr. Gutierrez was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque; a proud World War II veteran, who served in the United States Army; and was a parishioner of San Jose Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tomas and Candelaria Gutierrez; two sisters, Mary Candelaria, Tomasita Chavez; and one brother, Tony Gutierrez. He is survived by four brothers, Domingo Gutierrez and wife, Bobbie, Max Gutierrez and wife, Emma, Elisio Gutierrez and wife, Mary, and Vitor Gutierrez and wife, Lala; and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his loving family. Final viewing will be this morning, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., in the Chapel of Garcia Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated this morning, 10:00 a.m., at San Jose Catholic Church, 2401 Broadway SE. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Daniel Chavez, Martine Chavez, Ranchy Gutierrez and Roy Anaya. Funeral services are in the care of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave. SW, 243-5222.
