White -- Edna M. White, 95, beloved mother of Elizabeth (Liz) Roche, passed away Saturday, October 2, 1999. She had lived in Albuquerque for nearly five years, with and near her daughter. She was born on July 22, 1904, in Nottingham, England, and came to the United States with her parents when she was 14. They lived in Newtonville, Massachusetts. In 1931, Edna married Joseph Cooke White, who preceded her in death. In 1973, she moved to Hyannis, Cape Cod, Massachusetts. She always loved golfing and her church, West Yarmouth Congregational, and its many activities. A Memorial service will be held at Sandia Funeral Care, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE, on Wednesday, October 6, 1999 at 2:30 p.m. Officiating will be Pastor Rick Donaho. If you wish you may make a contribution to the charity of your choice. Cremation arrangements were made by Sunrise Society of New Mexico, 505-891-8200.
