Hilger -- In Loving Memory of Glenda Jane Hilger who went to be with the angels 9/17/99. Her beloved fiancee, Ron Mikus and mother had been by her side throughout the difficult time she was hospitalized. Glenda was a wonderfully loving daughter to her mother, Linda Adleen Carpenter-Fisher; and a devoted big sister to brother, Michael Naus. She is also survived by her father, Jerry Naus; and grandparents. She was a vibrant and healthy individual in spite of her illness, who treasured her workouts at Gold's gym more than anything. Her last six months of life were shared with her fiancee in San Diego, her most favorite place on earth. Running on the beach and picking up sea shells with Ron was easily the thing she most enjoyed. By her request, her ashes will be scattered over the water. Glenda was such a special person, she had many wonderful loving friends, we share with them how much we will miss her bubbly personality and fun-loving spirit. As such a special caring, kind of person, who abhorred abuse of any kind, she would wish that any donations in her name would go to a favorite women's shelter. Also any one who truly knew her would know of her enormous love of animals so an alternate donation could be made in her name to the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
