Teter -- John Michael Teter, 47, born April 10, 1952, died September 22, 1999 of cancer at the family home. John was the beloved son of Mrs. Ivan Teter and the late Mr. Teter. His dear companion, Kathy Addington; his sister, Margaret Teter Harrington and husband of Boulder, CO; his brother, Bill and wife, of Granville, MA; and sister, Mary Teter Wisman of Richmond, VA; six nieces and one nephew survive John. John was an avid student of the Bible for over 25 years and had brought scores of friends to a saving personal relationship with his best friend, Jesus Christ. John was a sportsman, knowledgeable bird enthusiast, and Master Falconer for 30 years. John recovered from cancer over 20 years ago and was able to live a normal life until the cancer suddenly returned with a vengeance. He wanted the family to express our appreciation to Dr. Arepally of the UNM Cancer Research and Treatment Center and to Presbyterian Hospice. John and his entire family loved God and name Jesus Christ as Lord, and we are joyfully awaiting the return of Christ when our family will be returned for eternity.
