Estrada -- Emma Estrada, 59, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt, went to walk with the Lord on Saturday, September 18, 1999. She was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church; an heir of the Atrisco Land Grant. She is survived by her loving husband, Emeterio Estrada of the family home; two sons, William Serna, Emeterio Estrada Jr. of Albuquerque; two daughters, Grace Barraza and husband, Valentin of Colorado, Eleanor Canales and husband, Jorge of Albuquerque; six grandchildren, Emerald Felix, Leroy Valles, Theresa Felix, Maricruz Canales, Angel Munoz, and Chino Villas. Also surviving are three sisters, Elena Martinez, Ramonacita Abalos and husband, Charlie, Rosa Reynosa; and six nieces, Yolanda Acosta, Lisa Acosta, Maria Armas, Lulu Abalos, Carla Abalos, and Ramona Abalos. She will be greatly missed by her loving family. Visitations will be today, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., in the chapel of Garcia Mortuary on the corner of 8th and Iron, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Final viewing will be Friday, from 8:00 a.m. until the time of Communion service, which will be at 9:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco Dr. SW. Casket bearers will be Emeterio Estrada, Jorge Canales, Leroy Valles, Valentin Barraza, William Serna and Lawrence Tapia. Funeral services are in the care and direction of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave. SW.
