Blackwell -- Lena Lee Blackwell, a resident of Albuquerque, died Thursday, August 5, at her home. She is survived by her husband, James Blackwell of Albuquerque; son, James Lee Blackwell and wife, Patricia of Alamogordo; daughter, Leslie Galen and husband, Geoff of Albuquerque; and granddaughter, Alison Annette Galen, also of Albuquerque. Lena was a member of the Beta Sigma Fi Sorority for over 40 years and was a very involved member. Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held Monday, August 9, 2:00 p.m., at Aspen Funeral Alternatives, 1935 Juan Tabo NE. Arrangements by Aspen Funeral Alternatives.
