Mckelvey -- Jessie R. McKelvey, 85, a former resident of Albuquerque, died on June 20, 1999 in Mechanicsville, MD. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl and is survived by their daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and Albert Klassen of Silver, NM, Jean and John Dean of Mechanicsville, MD, and Barbara and David McCoy of Elfers of Florida. Also surviving are eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and two sisters. She was a longtime member of Harwood United Methodist Church. Memorial services were held June 26 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Mechanicsville, MD. Memorials may be sent to the library fund, St. Mary's Home for the Elderly, 22680 Cedar Lane Court, Leonardtown, MD 20650 or the charity of your choice.
