Schrier -- John M. Schrier, 83, a resident of Albuquerque (Paradise Hills) for the past four years, passed away on Thursday, July 1, 1999. John was born June 28, 1916, the son of Joseph and Elizabeth Osman Schrier in Chicago, Illinois. He served in the US Coast Guard during WWII, and had been a salesman in retail sales for 40 years before he retired. John was a member of the Paradise Hills United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Lois Jean of Paradise Hills; three children, Jill Manske of Rio Rancho, Lori Merritt of Houston, TX, and Ellen Faingold of Chicago, IL; two grandchildren, Christina and Andrew Merritt of Houston, TX. Arrangements by Vista Verde Mortuary, Rio Rancho.
