Booth -- Carl Booth, Jr., 77, a lifelong Albuquerque resident, died Tuesday, July 6, 1999. He was a US Army Air Corps veteran of WWII. Mr. Booth retired from the New Mexico National Guard as a Chief Warrant Officer after 34 years service. He was a member of Faith Chapel. He was a dedicated husband to his wife of 59 years, Charlotte Booth of the family home; loving father of sons, Daniel (Eddie) Booth and wife, Loretta of Cedar Crest, Richard Booth and wife, Sara of Rio Rancho and Doug Booth and wife, Carla of Cedar Grove; seven grandchildren, Vikki Wingerd and husband, Sam, Randie Booth, Rick Booth and his love, Juanita Salas, Kelly Jungling and husband, Dan, Toby Booth and wife, Nora, Jennifer Booth and her love, Michael Witten and Alicia Booth; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Daniel Booth and wife, Beulah; sisters, Margaret Akin, Louise Whitney and husband, Lt. Col. Henry Whitney, Jean Trosper and husband, Charles, Laura Dorn and husband, Gary; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Bessie Hopkins. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 9, 1999 at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE with Pastor Mable E. Dawe and Pastor Tom H. Salmon, officiating. Interment with full military honors will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his grandchildren. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE on Thursday, July 8, 1999 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association of NM, 216 Truman NE, Albuquerque, NM 87108. Carl's memory will be cherished by his family and many friends as he goes on to be with the Lord. French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
