Candelaria -- Gabriel Candelaria, 37, beloved husband, father and son, was called home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, June 29, 1999. Mr. Candelaria was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque. He is survived by his loving wife, Isabel; daughter, Monica; son, Gabriel Jr.; grandsons, Michael; mother, Diana Flores; father, Eddie Candelaria; mother and father-in-law, Mike and Dolores Mirabal; brothers, Victor and Richard; sister, Valerie; brother and sisters-in-law, Michael Mirabal, Patricia Baca, and Ana Marie Mirabal; grandmothers, Theresa Santillanes and Sally Mc Guinness. He was well loved by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and by his Godson, Ruben Martinez Jr. He will be greatly missed by his loving family. Funeral services will be held at Victory Outreach Church, Bridge at Five Points, on Saturday, July 3, 1999 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at San Jose Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tony Madrid, Danny Romero, Steven Romero, Ruben Martinez Sr., Leroy Romero, Gilbert Gonzales, and Mike Baca. Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Mirabal, Michael Mirabal, and Godson, Ruben Martinez Jr. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th St. NW, 343-8008.
