Montoya -- Castilo. P. Montoya ,of Cuba, born January 12, 1949, died Saturday, May 1, 1999. He was preceded in death by his father, Vences Montoya of Cuba. He is survived by his wife, Claudine Montoya of Cuba; four daughters, Monica Montoya of Cuba, Kari Montoya of Albuquerque, Tammy Montoya of Cuba, and Virginia Montoya of Cuba; two sons, Castilo Montoya Jr. stationed in San Diego, CA, Jerry Chavez of Albuquerque; also surviving is his mother, Genevieve Montoya of Cuba; a brother, Leroy Michael Montoya of Cuba; two grandchildren, Adrian and Anthony Vigil, both of Cuba. He served in the Marines and was a Vietnam Veteran. A Rosary will be recited this evening, 7:00 p.m., at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cuba. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, May 5, 1999 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Gene as Celebrant. Interment will follow at the Cuba Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Steve Jaquez, Ralph Duran, George Baca, Louis Martinez, Jerome Chavez, and Jerome Jenkins. Honorary pallbearers will be Viola Maestas, Leona Gomez, Ray Vigil, and Andronico Martinez. Serving as Escorts will be Adrian Vigil and Anthony Vigil. Services entrusted to the Alameda Mortuary, Norbert R. Baldonado Jr. F.S.I.
