Lovato -- Mr. Solomon Lovato died Sunday in Albuquerque at the age of 84. Mr. Lovato was a member of the Church of the Risen Savior. He was born in San Luis, NM in 1915. Mr. Lovato was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Marine Corps and was a member of the American Legion. He worked as a rancher and was also retired from Kirtland Airforce Base where he worked as a heavy equipment operator. Mr. Lovato is survived by his wife, Frances Lovato; six sons, Rudy Lovato and wife, Pilar, Bert Lovato and wife, Betty, Ronald Lovato and wife, Mary, all of Albuquerque, Anthony Lovato of Los Angeles, CA, Joe Lovato and wife, Lois of Albuquerque, and Henry Alex Mirabal and wife, Lupe of McAllen, TX; and three daughters, Flora Garcia and husband, Maurice, Rita Gallegos, all of Albuquerque, and Florence Prado and husband, Edwardo of Clint, TX. Mr. Lovato is also survived by two brothers, Amarante Lovato and wife, Mable of Albuquerque and Alex Lovato and wife, Ruth of Farmington; five sisters, Josephine Valencia and husband, Mariano of Bernalillo, Sylvia Reed and husband, Pete of Aztec, Dolores Olivas and husband, Manuel of Albuquerque, Rafe Taylor and husband, Robert of La Jara, and Reina Miera and husband, Joe of Albuquerque; 29 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Lovato will be held on Wednesday at the Church of the Risen Savior where the Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert Garcia, Stephanie Lovato, Matthew Medina, Anthony Lovato, Edward Lovato, and Edith Prado. Honorary pallbearers will be Anthony Lovato, Darlene Lovato and Olivia Trujillo. Visitation for Mr. Lovato will be held on Tuesday, from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. in the mortuary chapel. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Church of the Risen Savior.
