Candelaria -- Mrs. Lita Candelaria, 87, a resident of California and formally of Albuquerque, passed away on January 8, 1999. Mrs. Candelaria was the beloved mother of six daughters, Florella Gonzales, Ramona Martinez, Catre Carlos and husband, Ruben, Ignacita Candelaria, Rosie Urban and Patsy Herrera and wife, Nestor; two sons, Juan de Dios Candelaria and Tito Candelaria; 83 grandchildren; 151 great-grandchildren; and 30 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Candelaria was preceded in death by two sons, Ricardo and Justo. Mrs. Candelaria was a member of the Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited Thursday, 7:00 p.m., at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW, with visitation at the church after 6:30 p.m. Naomi Herrera will recite the Rosary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday morning, 9:00 a.m., at Holy Family Catholic Church with final viewing at the church after 8:30 a.m. Father Jack, Celebrant. Interment will follow at the Santa Clara Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Alfred Candelaria, Paul Gomez, Felix Urban, Tony Carlos, Leonard Candelaria and Ben Bonales. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW, in charge of the arrangements.
