Gallegos -- Marcelo F. Gallegos, 83, a resident of Albuquerque since 1938, died Tuesday, June 15, 1999. He was preceded in death by his wife, Romey Gallegos; son, Eddie Gallegos; and grandson, Randy Gallegos. Mr. Gallegos is survived by his sons, Richard Gallegos and wife, Kendra of Burwell, NE and Tommy Gallegos and wife, Janet of Farmington; daughters, Patricia Gallegos and Mary Segura and husband, Clyde, all of Albuquerque; daughter-in-law, Mary Gallegos of Albuquerque; his friend, Edward Gurule of Albuquerque; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three sisters; one brother; several nieces and nephews; and many dear friends. He was a member of the Carpenter's Local Union #1319. Mr. Gallegos was also a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated Friday, 10:00 a.m., at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco Drive SW, with Father Ben Begin O.F.M., Celebrant. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rodney Gallegos, Amos Gallegos, Tyson Luna, Mario Gallegos, Joe Lopez, Tommy Gallegos, Richard Gallegos and Clyde Segura. French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE.
