Reilly -- Max Fernando Reilly, 11, died Sunday, June 6, peacefully at home after a long illness. Born February 18, 1988 in Medellin, Columbia, Max is deeply mourned by his mother, Rosalie Rayburn Reilly; brother, Patrick Reilly; father, Michael Reilly; grandparents, Frank and Eileen Reilly of South Carolina; aunts, uncles, and cousins; his friends, Jo and Alex Santiago; his classmates and teachers at Arroyo del Oso Elementary; and all those who cared for him in his illness. Throughout his short life, Max's warm smile brought joy and gladness to his many friends all over the world, both young and old. At school he was often honored for the kindness he showed to others. After travels in many countries his family settled in Albuquerque in 1996. He love inline skating and played on the Coyotes roller hockey team. We are the richer for knowing him. He will always be in our hearts. Rosary will be held Wednesday, 6:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 1800 Martha NE, on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be sent to Culdando los Ninos, 1500 Walter SE 87102.
