Saiz -- Eloisa Saiz, 73, beloved and devoted mother and grandmother, passed away Sunday, May 30, 1999 in the arms of her loving family, following a valiant battle with cancer. Mrs. Saiz was a member of the Armijo Senior Citizens. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward of 37 years; a son, Michael; grandson, Ronnie; one brother, Gil; sisters, Celstina Rafaela and Pabla. She is survived by four sons, Eddie Saiz and wife, Valerie of Glide, OR, Arthur Saiz and wife, Linda of Albuquerque, Freddie Saiz of Albuquerque, Ambrosio Saiz and wife, Patricia of Albuquerque; two daughters, Frances Martinez and husband, Lee, Belinda Perea and husband, Clovis, both of Albuquerque. Also surviving are a special granddaughter, Melissa Eloisa Frances Perea; her precious grandchildren, Loren Black, Brian Vallejos, Lisa Vallejos, Adam Martinez, Christa Saiz, Jennifer Saiz, Antoinette Timitz Saiz, Breana Saiz, Clovis Perea, James Perea, Ronnie E. Saiz, Edward Saiz, and Rebekah Saiz; great-grandchildren surviving Mrs. Saiz are Monica Black, Lauren Black, and Aaron James Jr. She will be greatly missed by her loving family. Visitations and a Rosary were Wednesday in the chapel of Garcia Mortuary. Mass of the Christian burial was celebrated Thursday at St. Anne's Catholic Church. Interment followed at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Casket bearers were Loren Black, Brian Vallejos, Clovis Perea, James Perea, Ronnie Saiz, Benny Saiz. Honorary bearers were Edward Saiz and Adam Martinez. The family of Eloisa Saiz wishes to express their sincere appreciation to Garcia Mortuary for the kindness and compassion shown to all members of our family, to Lewis Rabinowitz and the University Hospice Care for the special care given to our beloved mother, and to all family and friends who were so supportive during this difficult time in our lives; to those who accompanied us for the services, to all of those who sent the beautiful floral tributes and food; and to those who prayed for us, we sincerely appreciate each and every one of you. Your kindness will always be remembered. Funeral services were under the care of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave., S.W.
