Ruggiero -- George Ruggiero, 89, a 22 year resident of Albuquerque, passed away Monday, May 31, 1999. He is survived by Mollie Ruggiero, his loving wife of 64 years. Also surviving are his three children, Leonard and wife, Camille of Albuquerque, George Jr. and wife, Josephine of Florida, and Anita Oehler of New York; seven grandchildren, Leonard, Laurie, Greg, Vincent, George, Robert, and Lisa; and seven great-grandchildren. A faithful Roman Catholic, Mr. Ruggiero was active at St. Malachys Church in Brooklyn, NY. He was a musician who played guitar, organ and loved to sing and could always be depended upon to provide entertainment at various occasions. to his family he was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, who would do anything for his family and friends. His family cordially invites friends to join with them as they celebrate his life at a memorial mass on Monday, June 7, 10:00 a.m., at the Church of the Risen Savior, 7701 Wyoming NE. Father Paul Baca will be the Celebrant. Sunrise Society is serving the family of Mr. Ruggiero, (891-8200).
