Bachicha -- Mr. Frank Bachicha Sr., born October 20, 1908, passed away on June 3,1999. Mr. Bachicha is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Marcella Armijo-Bachicha; his children, Benny and Theresa Bachicha, Berna and Charlie Aragon, Frank and Mary Bachicha Jr., Irene and Larry Lucero; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by Adela, his wife of 24 years and the mother of his children; his parents, Emilianita and Tomas Bachicha; brothers, Nemecio, Roman, Jose, Raymundo, David, Gullermo and Alfredo; sisters, Maria, Felicita, Rosita and Francisquita. Frank was a resident of his birth place, Encino, NM, until his move to Albuquerque in 1951. He was employed by Sandia Base until retirement in 1970. A Parishioner of St. Charles Catholic Church and an active member of the Holy Name Society and Nocturnal Adoration Group until his very long illness of four plus years. Visitation will be Sunday evening in the St. Charles Church, 1818 Coal SE, from 7:15 p.m. until 7:45 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:45 p.m. by Tommy Bachicha. Final visitation will be Monday, from 9:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m., in the church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. by Father Bob Chabot. Interment will follow in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Dan, Mike and Phillip Bachicha, Paul, Vincent, Steven and Roberto Aragon. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW, in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Women's Auxiliary, St. Charles Catholic Church, or a favorite charity.
