Frentzel -- Sue S. Frentzel, 84, passed away Saturday, May 30, 1999. She was born September 14, 1914 in Hawaii and moved to Albuquerque in 1948. She was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Frentzel, August 15, 1968. She is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth McDonald and husband, John, Plano, TX and Donna G. Dubiel, El Paso, TX; one son, Chris E. Frentzel and wife, Fran, Albuquerque; six grandchildren, Christy Harrington, John M. and Scott McDonald, Laury Alley, Shannon and Christopher Frentzel; seven great-grandchildren, Shara, Tori and Heather Harrington, Kyle and Bryce McDonald, Arron Alley and Ashley Frentzel; three brothers, Katsumi Muraoka, Katsuyoshi Muraoka and Katsuyuki Muraoka; and one sister, Chizuno Hiroshige, all of Hawaii. Mrs. Frentzel was a very independent and active lady, she loved her family, enjoyed sewing, gardening and was a wonderful cook. Visitation will be held Thursday, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle NE. Funeral services will be held Friday at 12:30 p.m. in the chapel of Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors. Interment will be in Santa Fe National Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5810 Lomas Blvd. NE 87110, in memory of Sue S. Frentzel.
