Montoya -- Susano Montoya, age 80, died Wednesday in Thornton, Colorado. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elvira Montoya; and brother, Benjamin Montoya. He is survived by children, Demetria (husband, Joe) Torres, Rodolfo Montoya, Fred (wife, Dora) Montoya, Andy (wife, Susan) Montoya, Selena (husband, Rueben) Montoya-Medina, Maria"Angie" Rodriguez, Jerry (wife, Maria) Montoya, Viola (husband, Dennis) Melendez, Patsy (husband, Michael) Medina, Donald (wife, Roxanne) Montoya, Josie Montoya, and Susanna; brother and sisters, Vincent Montoya, Helen Ortiz, Demetri Trujillo, Julio Montoya; 32 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. The Rosary will be recited 7:00 p.m., Friday, at the Chapel of Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors, 3113 Carlisle NE. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m., Saturday, from St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Rio Rancho. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
