Syler -- Grant P. Syler, 41, a resident of Albuquerque died Wednesday, December 30, 1998. He is survived by his parents, Ron and Nelmah Syler of Albuquerque; grandparents, Pat and Bessie Syler of Flagstaff, AZ; sister, Ginger Syler and husband, Kasey Hellmodt of Belen, NM; nephew, David Syler and fiance, Denise Correa and her children, Leah, Tony, Ciara and Chelsea; and her grandchildren, Mina and Dreama; and many other family and friends. Grant graduated from Eldorado High School in 1975 where he played in the Eldorado Jazz Band. He was a part of the Sandia Peak Ski Racing Team. He was also a member of Central United Methodist Church. Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday 11:00 a.m. at Central United Methodist Church, 1615 Copper Ave, NE with Reverend Marty Singletary, Officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 216 Truman, NE 87108, or Central United Methodist Church, 1615 Copper Ave, NE, 87106.
