Saavedra -- Mrs. Florentia A. Saavedra, 93, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on January 1, 1999. Mrs. Saavedra is survived by her daughters, Cecelia Vigil, Martha Ramirez and Maria C. Torrez; three sons, Robert Saavedra and wife, Placida, Fernandez A. Saavedra and wife, Irene and Marcelino Saavedra; 25 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Saavedra was a member of The Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited Sunday at 4:00 p.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal SW with Visitation at the church after 3:30 p.m. Gabriella Nieto will recite the Rosary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 9:00 a.m. at St. Anne Catholic Church with final viewing at the church after 8:30 a.m. Monsignor Joaquin Bazan, Celebrant. Interment will follow at San Jose De Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Ernie Saavedra, Pablo Torrez, David Ramirez, Nick Saavedra, Eugene Vigil and Willie Ray Vigil. Honorary will be Steve McCrary, Milton Torrez, Robert Saavedra, David Saavedra, Johnny Joe Saavedra and Charles Ramirez. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW in charge of the arrangements.
