Parenti -- Ida Parenti, age 86, a lifelong resident of New Mexico, died March 20, 1999. She is survived by two sisters, Edna S. Wing of Ft. Worth, TX and Juanita C. Mathews and husband, Leroy J. of Albuquerque; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Coach Babe Parenti. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, March 24, 1999, 10:30 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 619 Copper NW, with Rev. Father Francis Renfroe as Celebrant. Leroy Mathews, Mike Mathews, Allen Mathews, Bill Mathews, Steven Mathews and Andy Gonzales will serve as pallbearers Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 619 Copper Ave. NW, Albuquerque, NM 87102. Strong-Thorne Mortuary, 1100 Coal Ave. SE, in charge of arrangements.
