Gonzales -- Ignacio"Nash" Gonzales walked into the arms of Jesus after 23 years of multiple sclerosis on March 19, 1999. He was born March 29, 1945 to Gilbert and Elie Gonzales in Las Vegas, NM and resided in Liberty, MO. Nash was preceded in death by his father in 1976. Nash leaves behind his wife, Cindy and children, Steve, Kim and Sarah of the home in Liberty, MO; his mother, Elie Gonzales of Las Vegas, NM; his brother, Gilbert and wife, Judy of Richmond, VA; sister, Rachel and husband, Max Garcia of Las Vegas, NM; brother, Jake and wife, Susan of Nambe, NM; cousin, Dave Sanchez of Las Vegas, NM. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Family in Kansas City, MO includes his mother-in-law, Dorothy Cooley; sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Edward Harmon, nieces, Cheryl Harmon, nephew, Scott Merritt, and great-nephews, Quentin and Devon; niece and nephew, Stephanie and Scott Parsons, great-niece, Destiny and great-nephew, Brandon; niece and nephew, Lisa and Carlos Tirami, great-niece, Chelsea. Nash requested that instead of flowers, donations be made to the National MS Society. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude and thanks to Dr. Feidler and staff of the Albuquerque VA spinal cord unit for their continuous support and care. Also the staff of the Leavenworth, VA in Kansas.
