Ortiz -- Rebecca R. Ortiz, 78, a resident of Albuquerque for 20 years, died Saturday, March 20, 1999. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia Martinez and husband, John, Frances Garcia and husband, Joe, and Jenny Hernandez and husband, Beto; sons, William Ortiz, Fred Ortiz and wife, Mary, Anthony Ortiz, Jake Ortiz and wife, Robbie, and Joseph Ochoa; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Amelia Lovato and Olivia Valdez; and brother, Rosinaldo Romero. She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Ortiz in 1989. Rosary will be recited Monday, 6:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, 7121 Wyoming NE. Mass of Christian burial will be Tuesday, 10:00 a.m., at Sangre de Cristo Catholic Church, 8901 Candelaria NE, with Father Albert Podvin, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM. French Mortuary, 7121 Wyoming NE.
