Napolitano -- Mary Patricia McNeely Napolitano passed away March 17, 1999, in her home in Danville, California. She was born in Albuquerque March 16, 1956, to Charles and Barbara McNeely. Mary Pat attended Yucca Grade School, Madison Middle School and Sandia High and graduated from Colorado College in Colorado Springs, CO. She married Leonard Napolitano, Jr., in Albuquerque in September 1979, and has lived in California since that date. She was employed by Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in Livermore, CA. She is survived by her husband, Leonard; two children, Carrie and David; and by her parents of Albuquerque; and two brothers, Charles of Wilmington, NC and James, of Broomfield, CO. She is also survived by her father-in-law, Leonard Napolitano, Sr. of Albuquerque; and two sisters-in-law, Janet Napolitano of Phoenix, AZ and Nancy Haustein of Magnolia, TX. Mary Pat was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother and a loving member of large extended families. She died of cancer which she fought bravely and hopefully for a year and a half. Memorial services will be held at Graham-Hitch Mortuary, 4167 1st St., Pleasanton, CA, at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 23. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Society or to a charity of choice. We are thankful for the joy she brought into our lives for 43 years; thankful that she had a very happy marriage of 19 years; and thankful for her two children whom she adored. Mary Pat will be forever in our memories.
