Proctor -- Verniece E. Proctor, 88, a resident of Albuquerque since 1957, died Saturday, March 6, 1999. She is survived by her sons, Roger Proctor and wife, Kay of Albuquerque and Daryl Proctor and wife, Marilyn of Santa Fe; daughter-in-law, Carol May Johnson and husband, Bill of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Susan Kay Gonzales and husband, Steve of Albuquerque, Patrick Scott Proctor and wife, Melissa of Albuquerque, Jenna Claire Proctor, Kyla Ellen Proctor, Jordan Theresa Proctor, all of Santa Fe; and great-grandchildren, Melissa, Emily and Cody. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Clark Almon Proctor; son, Terry Ray Proctor; and grandson, Kevin Ray Proctor. Verniece was a member of the Progress Club for many years. She loved knitting, crocheting, reading cookbooks and baked the best apple pies. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, 12:30 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM.
