Montoya -- Celina Montoya, age 89, born on March 6, 1910, passed away to be with the Lord on June 14, 1999. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Theodoro Salazar; second husband, Miguel Montoya; one older brother, Emilano Trujillo; and one grandson, Robert (Bobby) Mata. Celina is survived by four daughters, Dora McCoy and Assencion, Emelda Garcia and husband, John Garcia, Kathy Gurule and husband, Charlie Gurule, Gloria Lovato and Michael Valencia; one older brother, Celio Trujillo; and one sister, Elisida Valdez; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her loving family. She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church and an active member of the Bernalillo Senior Citizens Center. A Rosary will be recited today, 5:00 p.m., at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Andrew Garcia, Teddy Garcia, Charles Gurule Jr., Steven Lovato, Bobby Mata Jr., Nicholas Mata. Honorary bearers will be John A. Garcia, Charles Gurule Sr., Michael Valencia, Roger Romero, Carlos Taylor, Modesto Chavez, Celio Trujillo Jr., Cerilio Trujillo. In lieu of flowers, family requests donations to be made to the Sandoval County Senior Citizens Program at P.O. Box 40, Bernalillo, NM 87004.
