Pace -- Marilyn J. (Phillips) Pace, 65, a resident of Albuquerque died Friday June 11, 1999. She is survived by her mother, Edra Phillips of Raton; sister, Sandra Chavez and husband P.J. of Arizona; brother, Ray Eugene Phillips and wife, Glenna of Mississippi; special friends Vi Jeys of Albuquerque, Dan Penney and wife, Joyce and Kim Riffle and husband, John and family, all of Alamogordo; brother-in-law, Lloyd Nauta of Colorado; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cathy Pace; sister, Betty Nauta; and her father, Ralph Phillips. Marilyn was a telephone operator for AT&T and US West for 44 years. She was a great lover of animals, especially cats. Marilyn was a member of New Covenant Church of Albuquerque. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Monday, 2:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd Chapel, 7121 Wyoming Blvd, NE with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating.
