Mather -- Thomas Paul Mather, born May 28, 1957, passed away on his 42nd birthday, Friday, May 28, 1999. Tom was born in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, son of John W. and Nola E. Mather. He is survived by his life partner, Juan Sanchez of Albuquerque; his father, John Mather of Burnet, TX; his brother, Robert Mather of Albuquerque; and his sister, Susie Barlow of Canada. Tom was a son, brother, an uncle, and friend to all. He always touched those who knew him either in passing or as soon-to-be friends, never putting himself ahead of others. Tom was always by everyone's side during their times of need, lending a hand or giving them his last penny if he thought it would help. Tom was a truly exceptional individual the world will likely never be blessed with again. Tom would like us to celebrate his life rather than mourn his passing. Tom, were thankful that you were, and always will be apart of our lives. You will be missed by all, and we love you dearly.
