Baldonado -- Ram¢n Leon Baldonado, a resident of Albuquerque since 1953, died Saturday, January 30, 1999. He is survived by his wife, Mary Viola Baldonado of the family home; son, Thomas Baldonado of Denver, CO; daughters, Patricia Baldonado of Albuquerque and Kathleen Baldonado of Brooklyn, NY; granddaughter, Angela Goolsby of Albuquerque; brother, Reverend Felipe Baldonado of Huntington Beach, CA; sisters, Anna Lund of Alamogordo, NM, Virginia Snodgrass of Phoeniz, AZ, Elisa Dawson of Albuquerque, Elena Duran and husband, Ernest of Thoreau, NM, and Teresita Torres of Tularosa, NM; and numerous other family members and friends. Mr. Baldonado was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Virginia Baldonado; son, John Francis Baldonado; grandson, Randall E. Goolsby; brothers, Luis, Juan and Jose Baldonado; and sister, Mary Sarbo. He was born in Tularosa, NM, on January 15, 1920. Mr. Baldonado was a member of Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church. He worked as a technical writer for Sandia National Laboratories for 26 years, retiring in 1983. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew him. Rosary will be recited by Alicia Montoya on Tuesday, 7:00 p.m. at French Mortuary-Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Friends may visit Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until the Rosary. Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, 11:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, Lomas at Tennessee NE, with Father Luis Jaramillo, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Frank Saiz, Bob San Martin, Gilbert Ulibarri, Steve Gallegos, Joe Duran and John Duran. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Baldonado's name to Lovelace Hospice, 5655 Jefferson St NE, 87109. French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE
