Ruiz -- Eufelia Gonzales Ruiz passed away at the age of 80 on December 31, 1998. She was born in Primer Agua, New Mexico in 1918. She was preceded in death by her parents, Damacio Gonzales and Salome Rael; her brothers, Fermin, Servando, Andalecio, Joaquin, Henry, George, Evaristo, and Mariano. She is survived by her sons, Richard Gonzales, Lawrence Ruiz and Maurilio Ruiz and wife, Theresa; brother, Steve Gonzales and wife, Beulah; sisters-in-law, Amalia Gonzales of San Jose, CA and Sinforosa Gonzales of Tijeras, NM; grandchildren, Bernadette Ruiz-Pacheco and Carlos Ruiz; great-grandchildren, Edmond, Alea and Justin. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, as well as many cousins. Eufelia will be missed by all who loved her. Eufelia was loved by all of her family and many friends. She will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank Eileen Ayala, Marie Trujillo and Fred Gonzales for their help and support. Also a special thanks to the St. Joseph Rehabilitation Center and to Sandia Hospice for their much needed help. Services will be at Holy Child Catholic Church in Tijeras, NM with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 2, 1999, and Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 6, 1999. Burial will follow at Tijeras Cemetery. Serving as casketbearers will be Luis Trujillo, Fred Gonzales, Carlos Ruiz, Andy Gonzales, Chris Ayala, Joseph Trujillo, Don Alber and Bob Lueras.
