Stover -- James R. Stover Sr., 63, a resident of Albuquerque since 1978, passed away on Saturday, May 22, 1999. Born in Pennsylvania, he relocated to Utah in 1955 and then to New Mexico in 1972. He was an avid fisherman and gardener. He retired as a uranium miner and later his family owned and operated Rio Puerco Chevron and Restaurant. James was preceded in death by his younger son; father, mother; and sister. James was a dedicated family man and is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years; one son; and three daughters; as well as nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 26, 1999, 11:00 a.m., at All Saints Lutheran Church. He will be laid to rest next to his loving son. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to All Faiths Lutheran Church, 4800 All Saints Rd., Albuquerque, NM 87120. Arrangements by Vista Verde Mortuary.
