Vigil -- Mr. Manuel Vigil died Friday at the age of 64. He was a Los Ranchos Native and a member of the American Legion Post 69. He is survived by his wife, Rafelita Vigil; three sons, Lorenzo Vigil, Francisco Vigil and Manuel Vigil Jr.; one daughter, Rosita Clute and husband, Jeff; one brother, Ricardo Vigil and his wife, Ann; two sisters, Tomasita Jaramillo and husband, Pete and Margaret Turner; seven grandchildren, Justin, Jordan, Caesar, Jasmin, Leslie, Kevin and Kayla; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mr. Vigil will be held on Monday at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, where the Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the San Carlos Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Raymond Lucero, Ray Rodarte, Phillip Candelaria, Robert Sanchez, Robert Jaramillo and Danny Valdez. Honorary pallbearers will be Gilbert Montoya, Eddie Garcia, Frank Ruiz and Ruben Jaramillo. Visitations will be held on Sunday, from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., in the mortuary chapel. A Rosary will be recited Sunday evening, 7:00 p.m., at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. Arrangements by Salazar & Sons Mortuary, 400 Third St. NW.
