Gilmer -- Rick L. Gilmer, 38, a resident of Albuquerque for 13 years, died on Monday, April 19, 1999. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Debbie Gilmer; son, Jarrod Gilmer; mother, Sharon Gilmer, all of Albuquerque; father, Doug Harmon of Bloomfield, NM; brothers, Dana Gilmer of Albuquerque and Billy Harmon of Farmington, NM; sister, Margay Erne and husband, Stuart; grandmother, Elaine"Mimi" Nickerson, all of Albuquerque; and in-laws, Waymon and Jane Wright of Farmington. Rick was an avid fisherman and a computer enthusiast. He was actively involved with youth baseball, was co-founder of the Southwest Amateur Baseball Association, and the Amateur Athletic Development. Services will be held Thursday, April 22, 1999, 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas NE, with Pastor Jerry Burton officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Pallbearers will be Carmen Digregorio, Chris Hayes, John Candelaria, Stuart Erne, Brian Candelaria, and Nick Zachary. A Mother's love for her son never dies, forever strong, forever true."We will miss you and love you always dad, son, brother and husband."
