Jones -- Dorothy Jones, 61, of Edgewood, NM, passed away April 9, 1999 in Loveland, Colorado. She was born April 12, 1937 in Albuquerque to Richard L. Jones and Ann Koban Jones. She married Charles Jones on December 25, 1955 in Bosque Farms, NM. She attended high school in Albuquerque, had been a resident of Edgewood since 1972, and owned and operated Charley's Hardware Store in Edgewood with her husband for ten years until June 1991. Mrs. Jones was a devoted wife and mother, and loved her grandchildren greatly. She enjoyed doing crafts, spending time with Charley, her one and only soulmate, and had many friends she loved dearly. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Edgewood. Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband, Charles Jones of Edgewood; mother, Ann Jones of Edgewood; sons, Lynden Jones and wife, Lynette of Loveland, CO, and Tim Jones and wife, Colleen of Albuquerque; daughter, Kristy Price and husband, Shelton of Gainsville, TX; brothers, Richard L. Russell and wife, Hildagard of Santa Fe, Elmer L. Russell and wife, Nellie of Chesapeake, VA, and Robert L. Russell and wife, Elaine of Albuquerque; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father; and uncle, Robert Jones. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to your local ASPCA or children's cancer research.
