Vittitow-Tanner -- Vittitow- Elsie Vittitow-Tanner, 90, a resident of Albuquerque since 1948, died Thursday, May 6, 1999. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 1/2 years, Bennet Meredith Vittitow; and was also preceded in death by her husband of 15 years, Erwin Austin Tanner. She is survived by her son, Richard Vittitow and wife, Linda of Albuquerque; daughter, Jo Anne Rolan-Nichols of Rio Rancho; grandchildren, Jim Everitt, Kenny Everitt of Aztec, NM, Patti Tatman, Danny Vittitow, Darren Vittitow and wife, Kim of Blanchard, OK; great-grandchildren, Wayman Everitt, Chris Everitt, Jay Everitt, Dwight Everitt and Dustin Everitt, Nicole Tatman and Robert Tatman, Richard Vittitow and Drake Vittitow; nephew, Charles Frasure; and niece, Carole Crawford. Mrs. Tanner was a volunteer with the American Red Cross for 28 years. She was a Sunday School teacher and an active member of the Woman's Missionary Union at Crestview Baptist Church for 30 years. Mrs. Tanner was also a member of the Birthday Club. For several years, she was a CB'er with the handle,"Granny Good". Mrs. Tanner spent 20 years ballroom dancing, retiring at the age of 87. Services will be held Monday, May 10, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE, with Pastor Ken Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Sandia Memory Gardens. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd. NE, Sunday, May 9, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
