Davis -- Linda Davis, 52, passed away May 5, 1999. She was a native New Mexican who was an active participant and owner of race horses. She is survived by her husband, Jim Davis; daughter, Carroll-Lynn Bilbo; mother, Wilda Embrey; brothers, Randy and Gary Embrey; step-children, Jim Davis, Linda M. Davis, Patricia Kemp; three step-grandchildren; and other family and friends who loved and will miss her. Services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 8, 1999 at the First Unitarian Church, 3701 Carlisle Blvd. NE. Services will also be held on Monday, May 10, 1999 in Las Cruces with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Flowers may be sent to the mortuary, or in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th St. NW, 343-8008.
