Maes -- Justo Maes, 90, beloved and devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother, was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 15, 2000. Mr. Maes was born in Savinoso, NM on March 29, 1909 and was a resident of Albuquerque. He was preceded in death by his son, Eloy Maes. He is survived by his loving wife, Louisa Maes; three daughters, Linda Urioste and Efrin Garcia, both of Albuquerque, and Angie Sanchez and husband, Jose of California; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Also surviving are three sisters, Elicia Torres and Elvira Martinez, both of Tucumcari, NM, and Irene Jaramillo of Colorado; one brother, Catarion Sena of Solano, NM; two cousins, Rocky Sena of California and Juan Sena of Kingman, AZ; daughter-in-law, Sally Maes; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. He will be greatly missed by his loving family. A Rosary will be recited Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. in Logan, NM. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. also in Logan, NM. Interment will follow at the Logan Catholic Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Joseph Garcia, Eloy Maes, Wilfred Urioste Jr., Johnnie Urioste, Dallas Dowell and Manuelito Morrales. Honorary bearers will be Paul Aguilar, Jose Deras, Mario Deras Sr., Mario Deras Jr., Steven Shepard, Rusty Dowell, Fidel Torres, Paul Ramirez and Cecilio Sena. Funeral Services are in the care of Garcia Mortuary, 717 Stover Ave SW.
