Prindible -- Kevin Gerard Prindible, 42, died of cardiac arrest Sept. 22, 2000, at Providence Alaska Medical Center. Mr. Prindible was born Dec. 30, 1957, in St. Louis, Mo. He was a 1977 graduate of Parkway North High School in Creve Coeur, Mo., and had additional studies in art. He worked as a graphic artist and was the 1979 recipient of the Art Institute of Atlanta Purchase Award. Kevin and his wife, Wendy, were residents of the Albuquerque area from 1990 through 1996. They moved to Alaska in April, settling in Eagle River. His family wrote:"Kevin was an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous since November 29, 1986. He enjoyed ethnic cooking, collecting Native American Art, painting and illustrating. He loved the outdoors, camping and hiking, motorcycles and cars. Kevin had the ability to give love and to receive love with a unique sense of humour." His cremains will be scattered over Glacier National Park in Montana. Survivors include his wife, Wendy of Eagle River; his mother, Helen L. Gieseking and her husband, Ed; brother and sister-in-law, Dan and Barb Prindible; brother-in-law, Fred Cowell; sisters and brothers-in laws, Pat and Dick Curtis, Mary Helen and Peter Rich, and Peggy and Todd Myers of Santa Fe, NM; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives; and his dogs, Lucy, Elvis, Moses and Sally. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Red Cross or the charity of the donor's choice.
