Edwards -- Loran R. Edwards, 85, a resident of Albuquerque since 1972, died Tuesday, September 26, 2000. He is survived by his best friend, Ada Edwards of Albuquerque; sons, Russell Edwards and wife, Janice of Albuquerque and Roy Edwards and wife, Lisa Kay of Norfolk, VA; grandsons, Evan Loran and Talon Jay Edwards; sister, Hazel Kays of Sedalia, MO. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Fern, Leona, Irene, Evelyn, and June; and brothers, Lloyd and Jack. Mr. Edwards was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church and Masonic Lodge #391 in Raytown, MO and Scottish Rite Bodies of Santa Fe. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Saturday, September 30, 2000, 2:00 p.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, 924 Menaul NE, with Rev. Roland McGregor officiating. French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE.
