Detevis -- Mr. Lloyd DeTevis was born in Dawson, NM, February 17, 1923. He died suddenly on April 28, 2000. He is survived by his son, Lloyd Jr.; and his sister, Virginia and husband, Earl Francis; two nieces; and one nephew. He was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, was a graduate of Albuquerque High School, 1942; joined the Army Air Corp, December, 1942; served in England, 1943-1945; and in 1948 joined the IBEW Electrical Union. He breathed and lived Union--Mr. Union man. He traveled the lower 48, working in construction. He loved camping and fishing, and being on the road, especially long trips. Interment will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery on May 4, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. Deacon Lloyd D. Martinez will conduct the gravesite services.
