Parker -- Phyllis E. Parker, 78, a resident of Albuquerque, went home to be with our Lord on Wednesday, February 16, 2000. Phyllis was born August 15, 1921 in Bowesmont, ND. Her parents were J. Walter and Susan Hills. She married Lloyd L. Parker on June 17, 1944 in Bowesmont, ND. She is survived by her husband, Lloyd of Albuquerque; sons, Gary and his wife, Linda of Rockford, MN, Clifford and his wife, Linda from Peoria, IL, Shuan and his wife, Linda of Albuquerque; daughter, Peggy Perreault of Albuquerque; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Don Hills and his wife, Helen of Glaston, ND, Oliver (Bud) Hills and his wife, Gladis of Grand Forks, ND; sisters, Evelyn Karel and her husband, Milton of Mesa, AZ, Lillian Grezkowiak and her husband, Charles of Grand Forks, ND, Thelma Fritz and her husband, Adrian of Grand Forks, ND, and Maxine Wilson and her husband, Marvin of Joliet, ND. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, John (Jack) Hills; and grandson, Joshua Lloyd Parker. Mrs. Parker was a former member of Peralta Memorial United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women in Peralta, and taught Sunday School there. Phyllis and Lloyd moved back to Albuquerque in 1996 and transferred membership back to St. John's United Methodist church, where Phyllis renewed her activity in United Methodist Women. She also attended Bible Study Fellowship for a number of years. She was a Past Worthy Matron of Myrtle Chapter 13 of the Order of the Eastern Star, Farmington, MN. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, February 22, 2000, 10:00 a.m., at St. John's United Methodist Church, 2626 Arizona NE, with Rev. Charles E. Price and Rev. James Hawk officiating.
