Stone -- James E. Stone, born 1928 in Rochester, NY, and a resident of Albuquerque since 1969, died Friday, June 2. He retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in 1993. He pursued his interests in art, vintage autos, jazz and history until his illness. He is survived by his daughter, Leslie; son-in-law, Jim Firkins; grandchildren, Miles and Cole. He is also survived by his son, Kevin Stone; daughter-in-law, Stephanie Richardson and grandson, Drew Richardson. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of Pres. & Kaseman hospitals, and especially the staff of Presbyterian Hospice for their care and support.
