Worley -- Billie Worley, 77, a resident of Albuquerque since 1959, passed away May 27, 2000. He was born August 21, 1922 in Milam Co, Texas, the youngest of six brothers. Billie is survived by his wife, Alva; son, Billie Ray Worley and wife, Ana, son, Rex Worley and wife, Judy; daughter, Sheryl Worley; and step-daughter, Jan Dimmitt; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Billie retired from Texico after 30 years, then went into commercial real estate as a broker. Billie served his country during World War II in the Navy. He was a Mason and a Shriner. He loved to hunt and fish, went to Africa on two big game Safaris, played golf, belonged to Tanoan Country Club, and was a member of Hoffmantown Baptist Church since 1959. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Memorial Services will be held at Hoffmantown Baptist Church on Wednesday, May 31, 2000 at 11:00 a.m. The family wants to thank all of the wonderful people at The Cottages who took loving care of Billie for two years and three months.
