Rosa -- Paula A. Rosa, 46, a resident of Rio Rancho for the past 25 years, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2000. Paula was born January 15, 1954, the daughter of James and Antoinette Bruno Valentine in Jersey City, New Jersey. She had worked as a Dealer at the Isleta Casino. Paula was preceded in death by her father, James Valentine. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Roman Rosa of Rio Rancho; mother, Antoinette Valentine of Rio Rancho; two sons, Mark James Rosa of Rio Rancho, Peter Rosa of Santa Fe; two brothers, James Valentine of Rio Rancho, Allan Valentine of Michigan; three sisters, Christine Poswiatowski of Rio Rancho, Janice Nargelovic of Rio Rancho, Diane Jennings of Rio Rancho; and other family members. Paula was a loving and devoted wife and mother. Visitation will be today, Tuesday, April 25, 2000, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., in the chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd., at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho, with the service on Wednesday, April 26, 2000 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, with the interment to follow in Vista Verde Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Steven Poswiatowski, Carl Jennings, Michael Jennings, John Nargelovic, James Nargelovic, and Andy Famiglietta. Arrangements by Vista Verde Mortuary, 892-9920.
