Patton -- Mr. Harvey L. Patton, 84, a resident of Corrales, NM, passed away on September 14, 2000. Mr. Patton is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Catherine; two daughters, Jean Fink and husband, Jim and Nancy Lindsay and husband, Ralph; one sister, Norma Nolle; three sisters-in-law, Flora Patton, Margaret Sauer and Eleanora Straka; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Mr. Patton was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during WWII and retired Army Reserve. He was former editor of the National Association Power Engineer Magazine. Visitation will be Monday, September 18, 2000 in the St. Thomas Aquinas Chapel (Newman Chapel) on the campus of the University of New Mexico from 8:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. with Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. by Father Bob Keller. Pallbearers will be Lisa Lockman, Heather Lockman, Sean Lefkovitz, Sara Lindsay, Jennifer Forakis, Jeffery Fisher and Hanna Lindsay. Honorary pallbearers will be Katey Lindsay and Jill Lindsay. A visitation will be September 23, 2000 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the William-Kemmp Funeral Home in Wheaton, IL, with a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the St. Michael Cemetery. Gabaldon Mortuary, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW, in charge of arrangements.
