Ortega -- Sotera M. Ortega, 81, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away Friday, May 5, 2000. She was born January 5, 1919 in Puerto de Luna, New Mexico. She'd been a resident of Albuquerque since 1950. She is survived by her devoted and loving husband, Espiridion A. Ortega of 62 years; son, Ralph Ortega of Grants; daughters, Rita Sargent and Oilvia Ortega of Albuquerque, and Barbara Arrambide and husband, Jesse Arrambide of El Paso, TX; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; numerous relatives and friends. Mrs. Ortega was a homemaker. A Memorial service will be held Sunday, May 28, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 1860 Griegos Rd. NW at 12:00 noon. Cremation services by Sunrise Society, 891-8200.
